Seoul has more than 15,000 bars, a strong whiskey culture and a growing cocktail scene, with some bars listed among the world best drinking spots in several rankings. During my time in the city, I’ve been searching for the right bar with certain limitations, basically two kids (who can mix a Martini like a pro, but are still kids), and I was not lucky since the two bars I wanted to check out were closed for private events on the day of my visit. Still, bar serendipity helped me and made me found the Super Barket, a tiny place in Hongdae run by a super welcoming and professional bartender who mixed me a very good Martini and gave me as a gift a cup with the bar logo on it. The place is informal and very local, with good music and athmosphere: definietly a nice discovery. Classic Martini rate: 7.
